FACT: On July 30, 2026, the U.S. Army and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reported the opening of the first buildings in a $62.8 million program for ten 3D-printed barracks at Fort Bliss, Texas. The Army said the printing phase for all ten buildings took 58 days and that the completed program will provide more than 78,000 square feet of covered area for up to 560 service members.
